Overview
This position is located in Irving, TX.
The Financial Service Center is seeking a qualified candidate for a Cash Management Analyst 1 role, reporting to the Manager of Cash Management. The position uses SAP to support incoming payment processing in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), company policies and procedures, disclosure statements, and applicable government regulations.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming cash receipts, lockbox payments, check deposits, AR refunds, write-offs, and intercompany cash transfers
- Maintain AR reporting and reconcile GL cash accounts
- Research and resolve unidentified receipts in coordination with the bank and/or customer
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities
- Respond to internal and external audit inquiries related to AR journal entries and cash activity
- Respond to cash receipts inquiries, and process incoming checks and web tickets
- Participate in projects and process improvement initiatives as appropriate
Requirements / Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field; or 4 years of related work experience in lieu of a degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- SAP experience
- Experience in a shared services environment
- Coursework or training in financial accounting
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines
- Strong understanding of accounting and cash controls
- Experience with Alteryx, Tableau, and ServiceNow
Compensation & Benefits
- Primary Level Salary Range: $54,700.00 - $82,100.00
- Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
- Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results.
- Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
