Accountant

Overview

This is a volunteer pro-bono accountant role. While the position is unpaid, the successful applicant may be eligible for a stipend.

Responsibilities

• Account reconciliation for one checking account and one savings account quarterly
• IRS Form 990 tax submission
• Payroll and related taxes for two part-time employees
• Monthly bookkeeping for seven accounts involving around 1,400 transactions per year
• General compliance consultation
• Account auditing (not a requirement)

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA
• Demonstrate high levels of fiduciary responsibility
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
