Overview
This role involves working remotely as an Accountant to evaluate AI-generated outputs related to financial analysis, bookkeeping, tax reasoning, and accounting standards. The position requires applying structured rubrics to assess the accuracy and compliance of AI outputs with accounting principles, contributing to the improvement of AI models in accounting tasks.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated financial analyses, journal entries, and accounting reasoning for accuracy.
- Apply structured rubrics to assess compliance with GAAP, IFRS, or tax regulations in AI outputs.
- Identify calculation errors, reasoning gaps, and compliance issues.
- File detailed evaluation tickets with clear written justifications.
- Collaborate with finance and product teams to define quality criteria.
- Assist in designing rubrics for specific accounting domains.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, audit, or tax.
- Working knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, or tax regulations.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar.
- Strong written communication skills for documentation and reporting.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent.
- Experience evaluating AI or large language model output quality.
- Background in audit, tax, or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel modeling.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
