Overview
The organization is seeking a Total Compensation Accountant to join the Global Compensation Accounting team. This role supports accurate global payroll, equity, and benefits accounting across regions, including reconciliation and analysis of payroll-related balance sheet and P&L accounts. The position supports a fast-paced environment with an accelerated close schedule.
This role offers exposure to a broad range of accounting processes and cross-functional partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Perform month and quarter end close activities, including:
- Journal entries
- Detail and summary level analysis of impacts to the balance sheet and income statement
- Balance sheet account reconciliations
- Reporting schedules
- Support global Payroll Operations, Equity Administration, and Benefits teams with accounting knowledge
- Support management with special projects, ad-hoc reporting, and other assigned tasks
- Collaborate across Finance, Legal, and Talent to ensure accurate financial statements
- Ensure SOX compliance with key controls and accurate GAAP reporting, including meeting internal and external reporting requirements
- Support transitions and knowledge transfer while monitoring critical deliverables
- Streamline accounting processes by leveraging AI, technology, and expertise
- Serve as a confident problem solver in a solutions-oriented environment
Requirements
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, organization, and critical thinking skills
- Self-starter who can form conclusions and present findings
- Team player able to work independently and take on challenges
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using AI tools to automate processes and drive efficiency gains
- Experience with ERP systems, Workday and/or Oracle
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA preferred
- Public accounting experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $87,000—$102,000 USD
- This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
Location
- US - Remote Eligible
- The role may include occasional work at an office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
- While remote eligible, you must live in a state where the organization has a registered entity. If employed by another entity, your recruiter will inform you what states you are eligible to work from.
Working hours: 8 am to 5 pm PST (11am to 8 pm EST).
