Overview
The organization is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to support the Finance team as part of growth. This role performs day-to-day ledger entries with guidance from the Accounting Manager.
Priority will be given to candidates in Pacific and Mountain US Times.
Responsibilities
- Streamline processes and improve existing procedures as the accounting team plans ahead and the organization grows
- Review accounts and prepare supporting schedules for the monthly close
- Support corporate month-end close activities, including:
- Journal entry preparation
- Account reconciliations
- Prepare US and International intercompany journal entries, financial accruals, bank transactions, and other journal entries
- Prepare financial statement account flux analysis
- Produce ad-hoc reports, analysis, and special projects
- Assist with audit support by providing supporting documents and answering procedural questions for auditors
- Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline accounting workflows, enhance data accuracy, and contribute to ongoing financial technology implementation projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (mandatory)
- 2–3 years of professional, relevant experience
- Experience with ERP systems (mandatory)
- Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset
- Ability to problem-solve, ask questions, and find answers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and internal controls
- Experience with foreign currency and multiple international subsidiaries (EMEA, APAC, NA)
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation is base salary only (no variable compensation component).
- Typical starting salary range: $61,900—$97,900 USD
- In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), the typical starting salary range is: $74,200—$117,300 USD
