Overview
An organization is seeking experienced Accounting Instructors to contribute to the development of AI systems by ensuring accurate understanding of financial concepts. This role involves reviewing and evaluating accounting-related content used in AI training datasets to enhance the precision and reliability of AI-generated financial knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Review and assess accounting questions and explanations within AI training materials
- Evaluate the accuracy of financial concepts including financial statements, bookkeeping, internal controls, and managerial accounting
- Identify errors, edge cases, and incomplete or misleading explanations
- Provide structured and actionable feedback to improve clarity and precision of AI content
- Work independently and asynchronously, managing your own schedule
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years teaching accounting at the postsecondary level
- Strong knowledge of financial and managerial accounting principles
- Ability to evaluate written quantitative and rule-based reasoning effectively
- Detail-oriented with the ability to review structured content at scale
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA designation or Master's degree in Accounting
- Practical experience in audits, financial analysis, or applied accounting
- Familiarity with AI systems, model evaluation, or data annotation workflows
