Accounting Intern- Fall 2026

Overview

This internship opportunity is designed for students pursuing a degree in Accounting, offering experience in General Ledger Accounting and Budgeting under general supervision. The role includes regular meetings with the VP of Accounting to discuss progress.

The internship begins in Fall 2026 with start dates on Monday, September 14th, Tuesday, September 15th, or Wednesday, September 16th, followed by orientation on Friday, September 18th. The position offers competitive pay starting at $20 per hour.

Candidates must be enrolled at the University of South Florida, University of Tampa, or University of South Carolina to qualify. The internship is fully remote with options to work from headquarters or retail locations. Candidates must reside in one of the following states: AL, AZ, AR, DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MS, MO, MT, NE, NH, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WV, WI, WY.

This employer does not interview or hire students in F-1 or J-1 visa status and will not sponsor work visas.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform duties as an Accountant with a focus on General Ledger Accounting and Budgeting.
• Meet regularly with the VP of Accounting to discuss progress.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

• Currently enrolled as a student pursuing an Accounting degree at an accredited college or university at the time of the internship.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Successful completion of Intermediate Accounting I.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of office equipment, including PC.

Physical Demands

• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and type in English.
• Ability to hear and use a telephone.

Work Environment

• Fully remote role with options to work from headquarters or retail locations.
• Must be able and willing to collaborate on camera via Microsoft Teams and Cisco WebEx.
• Standard business hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Internship schedule will not exceed 29 hours per week and offers flexibility around school schedules.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive pay starting at $20 per hour.
