Accounting Manager

Overview

An organization in the online privacy industry is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee technical and revenue accounting functions. The company has developed a free web browser that blocks ads and trackers by default, a private search engine with an independent index, a browser-native Web3 wallet, and a private ad platform that rewards users. Serving nearly 80 million users, the organization continues to grow by providing a faster, more private web experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical accounting tasks including audit preparation and support
• Conduct transaction analysis ensuring compliance with GAAP
• Oversee revenue recognition processes under ASC 606
• Handle consolidation and intercompany transactions
• Administer NetSuite and manage related policies and lease implementation
• Perform cost analysis and maintain budgets
• Produce and manage financial data and provide operational support
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• CPA certification from a Big Four firm required
• Over 10 years of practical experience with accounting principles and practices
• Minimum 5 years of experience in revenue recognition under ASC 606
• Proficiency with accounting software, specifically NetSuite (required); experience with Bill.com and Excel preferred
• At least 5 years of experience with international accounting and multicurrency environments
• Preferred experience with consolidation processes
• Experience in stock-based compensation accounting required
• Interest in digital tokens is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $120,000 to $150,000 USD
