Overview
Fully remote role with in-person onboarding.
This financial services organization supports administration of employee benefit accounts, including FSAs, HRAs, COBRA, and HSAs. The Accounting Operations Processor supports the Accounting Operations team by handling key financial processes and compliance-related transactions, helping maintain accuracy and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assist with ticketing queues, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections
- Manage bank lockbox processing activities
- Handle exception funding processes and resolve discrepancies
- Oversee Health Savings Account transaction processing
- Manage COBRA payments and related communications
- Execute stop payment entries with proper documentation
- Support projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives alongside the Director of Accounting Operations
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience with a Third-Party Administrator (TPA)
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of FSA, HRA, COBRA, and HSA products
- Ability to read financial ledgers and understand banking operations
- Proficiency with banking websites and financial systems
- Effective communication skills across multiple channels
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Advanced attention to detail
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary: $57,000.00 to $60,000.00 plus potential bonus
