Overview
This is a fully remote role with remote-first work and in-person onboarding to ensure smooth integration.
The Accounting Operations Processor supports the Accounting Operations team by managing key financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and compliance-related transactions. This position helps maintain accuracy and efficiency in financial operations and collaborates on process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Assist with ticketing queues, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections
- Manage bank lockbox processing activities
- Handle exception funding processes and resolve discrepancies
- Oversee Health Savings Account (HSA) transaction processing
- Manage COBRA payments and related communications
- Execute stop payment entries with proper documentation
- Support projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives alongside the Director of Accounting Operations
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience with a Third-Party Administrator (TPA)
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of FSA, HRA, COBRA, and HSA products
- Ability to read financial ledgers and understand banking operations
- Proficiency with banking websites and financial systems
- Effective communication skills across multiple channels
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Advanced attention to detail
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary: $57,000.00 to $60,000.00 plus potential bonus
- Potential annual bonus: up to 10% of salary
