Overview
This role is fully remote, with in-person onboarding to support smooth integration.
The employer is a financial services organization that administers employee benefit accounts, including FSAs, HRAs, COBRA, and HSAs. This position supports Accounting Operations by processing key financial transactions and assisting with compliance-related activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with ticketing queues, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections
- Manage bank lockbox processing activities
- Handle exception funding processes and resolve discrepancies
- Oversee Health Savings Account transaction processing
- Manage COBRA payments and related communications
- Execute stop payment entries with proper documentation
- Support assigned projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives alongside the Director of Accounting Operations
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience with a Third-Party Administrator (TPA)
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of FSA, HRA, COBRA, and HSA products
- Ability to read financial ledgers and understand banking operations
- Proficiency with banking websites and financial systems
- Effective communication skills across multiple channels
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Advanced attention to detail
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range
- Annual salary between $57,000.00 and $60,000.00, plus potential bonus
