Accounting Operations Processor

Overview

• Fully remote role with remote-first work model and in-person onboarding to ensure smooth integration.
• The Accounting Operations Processor supports the Accounting Operations team by managing critical financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and compliance-related transactions. The role helps maintain accuracy and efficiency and participates in projects focused on process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ticketing queues, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections
• Manage bank lockbox processing activities
• Handle exception funding processes and resolve discrepancies
• Oversee Health Savings Account (HSA) transaction processing
• Manage COBRA payments and related communications
• Execute stop payment entries with proper documentation
• Support projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives alongside the Director of Accounting Operations

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience with a Third-Party Administrator (TPA)
• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of FSA, HRA, COBRA, and HSA products
• Ability to read financial ledgers and understand banking operations
• Proficiency with banking websites and financial systems
• Effective communication skills across multiple channels
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Advanced attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary: $57,000.00 to $60,000.00 plus potential bonus
