Overview
This role involves supporting accounting operations by managing client portfolio transactions and related correspondence. The specialist will handle confidential communications, maintain wire instructions, and ensure accurate processing of financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and process routine and non-routine confidential correspondence related to client portfolio transactions, including capital calls, cash, and stock distributions
- Prepare and send client portfolio transaction letters
- Monitor and distribute general correspondence received via email, including client and general partner requests
- Maintain wire instructions in the database and communicate them to appropriate parties upon request
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of wires through the treasury system
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
- Two to three years of full-time experience in bookkeeping or a closely related position
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and resourceful
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $60,000 to $70,000 annually
- Eligibility for overtime and one discretionary bonus per year
