Overview
This role provides strategic leadership over finance systems analysis, ensuring Oracle Cloud ERP–enabled accounting operations are scalable, well-controlled, and aligned with business growth. It involves strong people leadership and cross-functional partnership to support accounting and finance operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a systems analysis team supporting Oracle Cloud ERP Financials, providing functional guidance, coaching, and clear direction on solution design aligned to accounting policy and operational needs.
- Set expectations and standards for systems analysis across integrations and upstream/downstream dependencies.
- Ensure the team documents current-state processes, identifies gaps, and delivers scalable improvements.
- Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to the systems analysis team, guiding analysis, validation, and end-to-end financial integrity.
- Establish and maintain production support operating models by directing the team on SOPs, job aids, playbooks, SLAs, and effective stakeholder communications.
- Ensure the team embeds strong financial controls by guiding reconciliation design, exception handling, monitoring, SOX compliance, audit readiness, and preventative root-cause analysis.
- Provide leadership over intake triage, backlog prioritization, governance, and release planning to balance production support with strategic enhancements and data integrity objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business analysis, business administration, finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of business analysis experience in Finance/Accounting operations or Finance Systems.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven management and organizational skills.
- Experience thriving in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
- Hands-on experience supporting Oracle Cloud ERP/Financials (implementation, optimization, or production support).
- Strong understanding of accounting operations and close processes with the ability to translate accounting needs into system requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay ranges vary by location and experience. Examples include:
- California: $110,500 - $183,000 annually
- Colorado: $96,000 - $154,000 annually
- New York: $120,000 - $192,000 annually
- Other states have similar ranges.
- Position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
