Overview
- Fully remote position
- This role supports accurate application and recording of customer payments across multiple global entities and currencies, ensuring precise financial records and effective cash application/payment posting.
Responsibilities
- Accurately apply customer payments to accounts and invoices
- Process cash applications for multiple global entities
- Ensure payments are assigned to the correct entity, currency, and bank account
- Post ACH, wire, check, and credit card transactions
- Reconcile internal credit card transactions
- Maintain documentation related to payment processing
- Investigate payment discrepancies and application exceptions
- Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to resolve payment issues
- Maintain financial records in compliance with accounting procedures
- Support audit preparation and related departmental activities
Requirements
- 3+ years of accounts receivable experience
- 3+ years of cash application or payment posting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to reconcile and apply payments accurately
- Experience with global or multi-entity accounting
- Familiarity with multiple currencies and international transactions
- Experience processing credit card transactions and exceptions
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently on repetitive, high-volume tasks
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with Salesforce (plus)
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range: $40,000 to $45,000 (placement based on experience, qualifications, and business considerations)
