Overview

  • This is a fully remote role.
  • The organization operates in the training, compliance, and workforce development industry, supporting multiple international entities through a centralized accounts receivable operation across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately apply customer payments to accounts and invoices.
  • Process cash applications for multiple global entities.
  • Ensure payments are assigned to the correct entity, currency, and bank account.
  • Post ACH, wire, check, and credit card transactions.
  • Reconcile internal credit card transactions.
  • Maintain documentation related to payment processing.
  • Investigate payment discrepancies and application exceptions.
  • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to resolve payment issues.
  • Maintain financial records in compliance with accounting procedures.
  • Support audit preparation and related departmental activities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of accounts receivable experience.
  • 3+ years of cash application or payment posting experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Ability to reconcile and apply payments accurately.
  • Experience with global or multi-entity accounting.
  • Familiarity with multiple currencies and international transactions.
  • Experience processing credit card transactions and exceptions.
  • Proficiency in Sage Intacct.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently on repetitive, high-volume tasks.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.

  • Annual salary range: $40,000 to $45,000 (placement depends on experience, qualifications, and business considerations).
