Overview
This position supports payment application and posting across multiple international entities, currencies, and bank accounts. The work is critical to keeping customer payment records accurate and up to date.
Responsibilities
- Accurately apply customer payments to accounts and invoices
- Process cash applications for multiple global entities
- Ensure payments are assigned to the correct entity, currency, and bank account
- Post ACH, wire, check, and credit card transactions
- Reconcile internal credit card transactions
- Maintain documentation related to payment processing
- Investigate payment discrepancies and application exceptions
- Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to resolve payment issues
- Maintain financial records in compliance with accounting procedures
- Support audit preparation and related departmental activities
Requirements
- 3+ years of accounts receivable experience
- 3+ years of cash application or payment posting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to reconcile and apply payments accurately
- Experience with global or multi-entity accounting
- Familiarity with multiple currencies and international transactions
- Experience processing credit card transactions and exceptions
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently on repetitive, high-volume tasks
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range: $40,000 to $45,000 (placement depending on experience, qualifications, and business considerations)
