Overview
This role supports national security initiatives for the Department of Defense and delivers compliant solutions for healthcare by addressing challenges related to digital transformation. The team combines technical expertise with practical approaches to accelerate secure mission outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform accounts payable tasks including 3-way matching, coding, review, routing, scanning, approvals, and data entry into Deltek Costpoint
- Ensure invoice transactions comply with governmental, regulatory, legislative requirements, and company policies
- Collaborate with analysts and contract personnel to confirm proper account and project designation
- Investigate and resolve vendor inquiries such as invoice discrepancies, payment terms, and invoice status
- Maintain accurate and organized digital accounts payable files and emails
- Provide ad hoc reports to management as needed
- Support year-end internal and external audits
- Assist with additional projects as assigned by accounts payable management
Requirements
- US citizenship required to work on Department of Defense contracts; no security clearance required
- Minimum 3 years of accounts payable experience
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented and capable of meeting deadlines under pressure
- Self-starter able to work independently
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team
- Preferred experience with Deltek Costpoint
- Experience with government contracts highly desirable
- Knowledge of JTAR and GSA preferred
