Accounts Payable Specialist

Overview

An organization is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team remotely. This role involves managing accounts payable processes for assigned markets and departments to ensure accurate and timely expenditure validation. The position operates Monday through Friday during corporate daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Handle vendor P-card payments and reconcile statements monthly
• Audit team member P-card statements and out-of-pocket reimbursement requests promptly and accurately
• Maintain monthly checklists to record appropriate accruals
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for new and closing locations
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries
• Assist with check processing
• Perform additional tasks such as processing monthly rent payments, patient and insurance refunds, posting P-card entries and accruals, completing monthly allocations, and processing voids
• Complete other assigned tasks and projects as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of accounts payable experience, or two years of continuing education in an accounting or finance program
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and especially Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Coupa software

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $18.25 - $26.88 per hour, based on direct and relevant experience
• DailyPay option available (subject to initial setup period)
