Overview
An organization recognized by Newsweek in 2024 and 2025 as one of America's Greatest Workplaces for Diversity is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This role involves providing customer service and resolving account billing issues to ensure exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Research and resolve billing errors, disputes, cash application, and other issues through regular customer account audits.
- Provide customers and business partners with accurate billing information.
- Resolve account inquiries and escalate unsettled discrepancies for timely resolution.
- Assist in training associates on Accounts Receivable policies, procedures, and platform functionalities.
- Identify potential customer account issues through review of daily, weekly, and monthly reports and queries, and work to resolve them promptly.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience in a blended call center environment.
- Experience with a multi-channel product environment preferred.
- Knowledge of general accounts receivable concepts and systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Detail-oriented, organized, and accurate.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Problems are generally solved with clear guidelines or by reporting to a supervisor.

- Basic skill level with ability to follow written or verbal instructions.

- Basic knowledge of the organization to answer common questions.
