Overview
This role supports the tools that millions of people rely on to manage their financial lives. The organization works with thousands of companies to facilitate easy connections between financial accounts and apps or services across the US, Canada, UK, and Europe. The ACH Operations team manages the suite of money movement and payments products, providing support to customers and ensuring compliance with payment regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and maintaining operational procedures.
- Monitor ACH returns and exposure limits for ACH Originators, acting as a liaison between customers and the Strategic Finance Team.
- Handle ACH investigations including requests for record of authorization, ACH recalls, reversals, and trace requests.
- Perform daily reconciliation of payment activity.
- Review and resolve operational alerts.
- Work directly with customers to resolve issues, gather needs, and collaborate with the product team on solutions.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in ACH payments-focused operations or risk environment with ownership of complex workstreams.
- Bachelor's Degree (operational strength prioritized).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, and independent problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Office, Slack, and similar tools.
- Strong understanding of Nacha Operating Rules, including return rate thresholds and authorization requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to own workstreams autonomously with minimal managerial oversight.
- Proven track record as a direct responsible individual (DRI) or significant contributor on process improvement or automation projects.
- Ability to identify and recommend risk-calibrated decisions with limited guidance.
- Understanding of RTP and FedNow payment systems.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $99,850 – $147,600 (target base salary varies based on location).
- Additional compensation may include equity and/or commission depending on the position.
