Overview
This opportunity is with a government legal services employer, specifically within the Office of the Indiana Attorney General. The role offers a salary up to $49,373 annually with flexible and hybrid remote work options.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Asset Recovery and Bankruptcy Litigation Section, including calendar management and scheduling
- Review and process payments received by the Section, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Assist in preparing statistical and agency reports as needed
- Serve as a point of contact for inquiries related to payments and assist with obtaining court and case information
- Support coordination with IT to maintain and improve the case management system for finance and reporting purposes
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience in bookkeeping, financial processing, or recordkeeping
- Understanding of legal system operations
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Regular computer use with the ability to operate various software and systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a legal or governmental setting
- Familiarity with case and document tracking systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills with diverse stakeholders
- Experience in research and report preparation
