Overview
This role involves performing a variety of regular and recurring moderately complex financial analyses and related fiscal functions requiring full professional competency. The analyst will prepare and review vendor pharmacy reimbursement reports to identify variances and assist in pharmacy financial reporting for both internal and external use. Additionally, the position includes preparing and reviewing various reports to calculate threshold regulatory requirements for the 340B program.
Work is performed under general supervision following established policies and procedures. Non-routine problems or issues are escalated to higher levels.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review vendor pharmacy reimbursement reports to identify variances
- Assist in pharmacy financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare and review reports to calculate threshold regulatory requirements for the 340B program
- Analyze financial data and develop solutions to complex problems
- Communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-finance users
- Summarize data and present results effectively in written and verbal formats
- Manage, organize, prioritize, and adapt to changing priorities
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
- Ability to analyze information, reach valid conclusions, and make sound recommendations
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of analytical research procedures and methods
- Familiarity with computer systems and software used in financial analysis
- Understanding of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements related to the functional area
- Knowledge of budgeting and finance principles, including financial data analysis and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with Medicare cost reporting or similar functions
- Experience in revenue cycle management
- Pharmacy finance support experience
- Knowledge of payor/PBM contracting
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $50.00 - $75.01 per hour

Location
- This is a fully remote contract position based out of Redwood City, CA.
