Overview

A financial technology organization is seeking a Data Analyst to join their Risk & Analytics team, focusing on credit risk management. This role involves leveraging data analytics to optimize credit strategies, perform portfolio analysis, and collaborate cross-functionally to manage risk and support sustainable business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize advanced data analytics to generate insights and optimize credit strategies
  • Conduct portfolio analytics including out-of-trend investigations and attribution analysis
  • Collaborate with Machine Learning and Engineering teams to develop monitoring and credit risk capabilities
  • Monitor portfolio performance and macroeconomic trends affecting loan outcomes
  • Drive adjustments to underwriting and marketing strategies to mitigate risk
  • Enhance the end-to-end portfolio management monitoring framework

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a data analyst; experience in consumer credit risk management is strongly preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Strong curiosity and willingness to learn about data, models, and algorithms
  • Ability to collaborate and influence across multiple teams
  • Excellent communication skills to convey findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Passion for deriving insights from data and driving change based on those insights

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base pay range for U.S. employees in CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT: $140,000 - $190,000 per year
  • Base pay range for U.S. employees in other states: $124,000 - $174,000 per year
  • Total compensation may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness, and technology spending
