Billing Lead

Overview

An organization is seeking an experienced Billing Lead to design, develop, and implement subscription billing solutions on their platform. This remote role requires close collaboration with business, finance, and technical teams to deliver scalable billing solutions and promote best practices across implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of subscription-based billing solutions.
• Configure and manage product catalogs, pricing models, rate plans, billing rules, invoicing, and payments.
• Oversee integrations with systems such as Salesforce, ERP platforms (Oracle, NetSuite, SAP), and other enterprise systems.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on best practices and architecture.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, finance, and product teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Manage data migration, system enhancements, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Ensure solutions comply with industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 6 to 10+ years of experience in subscription billing implementation and support.
• Strong expertise in subscription billing lifecycle, invoicing, and payment processing.
• Experience with billing platform APIs, workflows, and integrations with CRM and ERP systems.
• Proven experience leading teams or serving as a technical lead in billing implementations.
• Excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities.
