Overview
This remote position supports billing, settlement, and revenue operations processes within a finance and retail context. The role focuses on ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and data integrity across revenue operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare settlement files and statements for member cooperatives, ensuring accurate data processing and posting supporting documentation according to deadlines.
- Assist finance staff with monthly account reconciliation and routine reporting to ensure proper recording and support of revenue and related receivable transactions.
- Generate and review aging reports for past-due receivables and provide timely follow-up lists to management.
- Collaborate with category managers to review and approve monthly promotional cost increases submitted by manufacturers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain accurate billing contact information, reports, summaries, and analyses of billing activity, providing reliable data for decision-making and reporting.
- Collect, update, and maintain consolidated coupon redemption data for member payments and vendor billing, identifying and reporting discrepancies for resolution.
Requirements
- Associate degree in business, accounting, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business operations involving large data sets from multiple sources (retailer, manufacturer, distributor).
- At least 1 year of experience with finance, accounting, or budgeting processes.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Excel, including working with large datasets and creating structured reports for billing, reconciliation, and analysis.
- Highly detail oriented with strong ability to maintain accuracy and data integrity across complex processes and documentation.

- Hourly, non-exempt position with a rate of $30.59 per hour.

Location
