Overview
A client is seeking a BlackLine Consultant with extensive experience in finance and financial systems implementation. This remote role involves supporting the implementation and optimization of BlackLine Financial Close solutions.
Responsibilities
- Customize and configure BlackLine modules including Account Reconciliation, Transaction Matching, Journal Entry, Variance Analysis, and Task Management to meet financial close requirements.
- Provide hands-on support for integrating BlackLine with existing ERP and financial systems to ensure seamless data flow.
- Assist clients in aligning internal controls and business processes with BlackLine modules to optimize financial close workflows.
- Deliver training and ongoing support to key users and system administrators to maximize utilization of BlackLine features.
- Prepare and validate cut-off procedures and hyper-care plans to ensure smooth transition into live operation.
- Provide continuous post-implementation support, including troubleshooting, system updates, and performance optimization.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Record to Report (RTR), General Accounting, Controllership, Transitions, Automations, Process Transformations, and Standardizations.
- BlackLine Financial Close implementation certification.
- Experience with finance tools such as SAP and BlackLine.
