Overview
This role is for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join a remote team. You will work closely with a group of accounting professionals to deliver accurate and timely financial reports for clients with revenues ranging from $5 million to $50 million. The position offers flexible work-from-home arrangements and a blend of independent ownership and team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Code and categorize financial transactions accurately in QuickBooks Online
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank, credit card, and other accounts
- Prepare and process payroll for clients
- Assist with month-end and week-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure financial data integrity
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in financial records
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation
- Support continuous improvement of bookkeeping processes and workflows
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding financial matters
Requirements
- 4+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficiency working in QuickBooks Online
- Experience working in a remote environment with a distributed team
- Reside in a state the organization is established in, including Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, or Minnesota
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills
- Comfortable working across multiple technology platforms
