Overview

A payroll services provider is seeking a Canada Payroll Processor to support their client base by delivering payroll services in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity for a skilled payroll professional to engage directly with clients and provide expert payroll support, with potential for professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Process payrolls using Workday
  • Generate on-demand payments as requested
  • Enter and maintain employee master file records
  • Assist with new client implementations as needed
  • Maintain payroll services support documentation
  • Assist with special projects as required
  • Log activity into the client manager ticketing system
  • Provide outstanding payroll services support

Qualifications and Experience

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; higher education preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of payroll clerk experience
  • 2-5 years of payroll experience using common industry software
  • Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) required before or within 6 months of hire
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and proficiency in Excel

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of payroll and payroll processing
  • Experience with Zendesk and/or Salesforce
  • Associate's degree or higher preferred

Supervisory Responsibility

  • This role does not include supervisory responsibilities

Location

  • The organization's global headquarters is located in Dallas, Texas, with additional locations across North America and Europe.
