Overview
This role involves joining a private capital ecosystem as a Certified Capital Strategy Analyst operating as an independent contractor. Analysts gain access to live deal work and paid strategic finance engagements after completing a certification and verification process. The platform supports fund managers, investors, operators, and finance professionals by integrating deal flow, analyst talent, capital strategy, investor relations, training, and placement.
Responsibilities
Depending on certification approvals, Capital Strategy Analysts may be engaged in:

Capital Strategy & Structuring:
- Designing capital stacks (debt, equity, hybrid structures)
- Supporting fundraising strategy and capital sourcing
- Structuring transactions and optimizing returns
- Scenario planning for capital deployment and exits

Financial Modeling & Valuation:
- Building 3-statement financial models
- Performing DCF, LBO, and project-level return modeling
- Underwriting commercial real estate
- Conducting sensitivity, downside, and scenario analyses
- Performing comparable company and precedent transaction analyses
- Preparing football field and valuation summary materials

Due Diligence & Investment Support:
- Conducting Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis
- Performing commercial, operational, and financial diligence
- Assessing risk and downside mitigation
- Supporting investment memo and investment committee presentations
Analysts may only perform work in categories for which they have explicit approval, earned through assessment and performance.
Requirements
To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:
- Score 70% or higher in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
- Complete approved financial training
- Hold an active professional credential such as CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent
Certification Tiers and Compensation

Senior Capital Strategy Analyst
- Analyst Rating Score: 90–100
- Pay: $150–$200/hour
- Typical background: 5+ years in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate development, fund strategy, or senior consulting

- Analyst Rating Score: 80–89
- Pay: $100–$150/hour
- Typical background: 3–5 years in capital markets, deal execution, or strategic finance

- Analyst Rating Score: 60–79
- Pay: $50–$100/hour
- Typical background: Entry to mid-level analysts with strong technical and strategic finance skills
Compensation & Deal Terms
- Analysts are independent contractors, not employees
- Hourly rates depend on Analyst Rating Score and approval level
- Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees, capped at $2,500 per transaction
- Payments are issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
- Approvals may be revoked for quality or compliance issues
Compliance
Capital Strategy Analysts do not:
- Provide investment advice
- Solicit securities
- Represent the platform in a regulated or broker-dealer capacity
