Overview

This is a fully remote role.

The organization operates in precision medicine and healthcare consulting, with a focus on financial and project management support for client portfolios. This position supports financial management and reporting for client projects, including project accounting, expense tracking, invoicing, and month-end close activities.

Responsibilities

Assist with monthly project accounting and update financial trackers based on project manager inputs.
Set up new projects in time and expense systems and verify required documentation.
Update project files for changes, budget adjustments, and key milestones.
Process intercompany revenue and cost transactions and maintain shared financial trackers.
Review hours and expenses for client projects and prepare invoicing per contracts.
Follow up on past due invoices and maintain invoicing schedules.
Assist in preparing monthly client accruals.
Track project costs against contracted amounts and other direct costs.
Manage tracking of employee and subcontractor hours, bill rates, and expenses.
Perform routine general ledger account reconciliations and collaborate with SG&A team.
Support ad hoc projects, including annual budget preparation.
Assist in gathering documentation for annual audits.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with concentration in accounting, finance, or business.
0-2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong client service, time management, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and work independently.
