Overview
This role is for a Senior Collateral Analyst within a Business Credit organization, with the flexibility to be based anywhere within the employer's operational footprint. The position may be eligible for remote work in select geographic locations, subject to approval, with the requirement that work is conducted from a quiet, secure, and confidential home workspace. Occasional in-office attendance may be necessary based on business needs. Visa sponsorship or participation in STEM OPT is not provided for this position.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze borrower-supplied reports, field examinations, and loan documentation, including financial statements for varied and complex borrowers.
- Perform collateral reconciliations and analyze or reconcile complex transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to route communications, documents, or action items to complete transactions.
- Identify and resolve exceptions or escalate issues appropriately.
- Interact with customers and manage assigned accounts or portfolios as needed.
- Ensure all necessary materials and documentation are available to complete transactions.
- Support training and onboarding of new employees and junior team members.
- Respond to inquiries and ad hoc requests, complete research, and provide feedback on workflow and work received.
- Review transactions and related documents to verify completeness, accuracy, and compliance with service levels and policies.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of direct collateral analysis experience or related work experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and interpret collateral data to support credit decisions.
- Effective verbal communication skills to clearly articulate findings and collaborate with partners.
- Prior experience reviewing loan documentation and familiarity with accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) aging concepts preferred.
- Typically requires an Associate's degree or equivalent, with 4+ years of related business or functional experience preferred.
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $41,250.00 – $82,500.00, varying by geographic location, market data, skills, experience, and education.
