Overview
This Collections Specialist role manages and collects outstanding accounts receivable from customers and vendors. The position also resolves customer issues and concerns while working to reduce the overall amount of accounts receivable.
Responsibilities
- Manage collection efforts/calls for an accounts receivable portfolio as part of a Team Collection Goal.
- Document daily collections activity to enable other team members to support collection efforts across all accounts.
- Research and resolve account disputes and billing discrepancies; build and maintain long-term business relationships.
- Perform account/payment reconciliations.
- Monitor account collection inquiries through Support Cases.
- Identify delinquent accounts and reduce active support and licensing by creating and monitoring internal tasks.
- Discuss and arrange payment plans/payment arrangements.
- Educate customers on Invoice Portal for self-service and payment options.
- Respond to credit inquiries from external clients.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
- Major in Business Administration is preferred.
- 3+ years previous A/R or billing experience is required.
- Sage Mas 500 experience is required.
- Experience with an automated Accounts Receivable and Collections Software system, BillTrust Invoice Gateway, and Sage Mas 500 experience is preferred.
- Project/Contract knowledge is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $50,000–55,000 USD.
- Base salary will be determined based on professional background, skills, education, and experience (salary aligned with the range above, exclusive of potential bonuses).
