Overview
This FP&A Analyst role supports Financial Planning & Analysis activities for the organization. The position provides strategic support to the executive team through enterprise-wide planning, analysis, and reporting. Responsibilities include producing and distributing key finance deliverables as well as conducting ad hoc analysis.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the consolidated monthly management reporting package for the Executive Committee, including analysis of budget performance, key operating metrics, revenue, EBITDA, and business-line and consolidated results.
- Analyze monthly and quarterly financial performance; identify key drivers and variances; investigate unexpected results; and communicate meaningful insights to Corporate Finance and senior leadership.
- Understand processes, objectives, and value drivers in each line of business, and collaborate with business leaders to analyze and report business drivers.
- Support preparation of the consolidated annual business plans, quarterly reforecasts, and related presentation materials for senior leadership.
- Coordinate with accounting, finance, and business teams to collect, validate, and synthesize information for business plans, forecasts, and management reporting.
- Analyze and communicate global operating and financial metrics, including AUM, EUM, and other key performance indicators.
- Maintain and improve financial models, reporting tools, and recurring analyses with a focus on accuracy, scalability, and efficiency.
- Own assigned analyses and deliverables from request through completion, proactively identifying questions, dependencies, data issues, and next steps.
- Review work for accuracy, completeness, and consistency prior to distribution; proactively investigate discrepancies or unexpected results.
- Perform ad hoc reporting and analytics, including what-if and scenario analyses.
- Respond to analytical and reporting requests from business leaders with responsiveness and a strong sense of ownership.
- Identify and implement process and procedural improvements to streamline recurring work, reduce manual effort, strengthen controls, and improve reporting quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or MAcc is a plus.
- 1–2 years of relevant finance, accounting, or analytical experience; FP&A experience is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with, or strong desire and demonstrated ability to learn, business intelligence and financial planning tools.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Excel skills, including manipulating, organizing, validating, and analyzing large datasets efficiently.
- Experience working with FP&A systems, financial reporting platforms, and/or BI tools is preferred.

- Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively, anticipate needs, ask thoughtful questions, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Collaborative and dependable team member, comfortable working independently and partnering across functions.
Location
Preference for the incumbent to sit in Charleston, SC, or be willing to relocate to Charleston, SC.
Compensation & Benefits
Base pay range is not specified. Pay within the posted range is determined based on business requirements, prior experience, current skills, and geographical location.
Additional compensation
- Corporate positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
- Onsite property positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
