Overview

A global supplier of engineering consulting and manufacturing technology for the packaging, corrugating, sheeting, and paper-converting industries is seeking a D365 Finance Solution Analyst. This role focuses on the finance aspects of Microsoft ERP installations on a global scale, contributing to the design, standardization, and implementation of finance-related processes and systems within the Manufacturing Systems domain.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, research, plan, and design solutions within the Manufacturing Systems domain to meet business needs.
  • Coordinate with architects to ensure an integrated and coherent systems design.
  • Maintain design standards by reusing standard system setups and processes.
  • Evaluate modification requests in collaboration with Solution Analysts and the ERP Center of Excellence (CoE) to approve, modify, or reject changes.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners to optimize the technical landscape and stay informed of relevant external developments.
  • Establish and follow design processes, ensuring comprehensive documentation and testing procedures.
  • Assist users with testing and adoption of process improvements alongside Business Partners and Solution Analysts.
  • Provide Tier 3 support for system issues and corrective actions.
  • Prepare documentation supporting process changes, including training aids and standard operating procedures.
  • Support new implementations and rollouts as needed.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvements.
  • Assist the systems architecture team with significant software upgrades.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct experience leading architecture, configuration, and development for the Finance domain of Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations in a multinational company.
  • Experience with machine builder/OEM business processes is preferred.
  • Direct configuration experience with General Ledger (G/L), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP).
  • Experience with the full ERP implementation cycle, from needs analysis through rollout and stabilization.
  • Experience integrating enterprise-level systems including ERP, Business Intelligence, and Consolidation Systems.
  • Experience in systems governance and establishing development processes and controls.
  • Experience leading or participating in robotic process automation projects is a plus.
  • Strong collaboration skills with IT architects, analysts, business customers, project managers, and external parties.
  • Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work across all IT technical platforms to resolve business problems.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office365 applications, including Power BI.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $96,000.00 - $145,000.00 annually.
  • Final compensation may vary based on background, skills, experience, and geographic location.

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Standard office setting with desk or table work.
  • Full-time position requiring frequent overtime and extended hours as needed.
  • Must be available and willing to work more than 40 hours per week, including scheduled and unscheduled overtime.

Travel

  • Moderate domestic travel for vendor, user, and customer site visits.
  • Occasional international travel may be required.

Physical Demands

  • Continuous use of computers and standard office equipment.
  • Requires mental and visual attention to perform duties.
