Overview
A leading organization in the Hospitals & Medical Centers sector is seeking a Division Chair of Billing and Accounts Receivable Revenue Cycle Operations. This remote role (US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship) involves supporting financial planning, forecasting, and operational performance initiatives to enhance business visibility and decision-making. The position collaborates with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to strengthen planning processes, financial discipline, and scalable operations, influencing enterprise performance and long-term financial strategy.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize billing and accounts receivable processes
- Drive strategic planning and operational execution within the Enterprise Revenue Cycle
- Lead efforts to reduce denials and improve cash collection
- Collaborate with clinical and finance teams to streamline processes and ensure compliance
- Foster a high-performing culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field
- 12-15+ years of experience in revenue cycle operations
- Knowledge of accounting systems and healthcare industry trends
- 12+ years of leadership experience in a multi-facility healthcare setting preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management, Billing and Accounts Receivable Management
- Leadership experience in multi-facility healthcare systems
- Certification from Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) is a plus
- Familiarity with advanced analytics tools, automation technologies, SQL databases, ERP systems, CRM software, and data visualization tools
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range: $150,000 – $180,000
