Overview

This role is for Certified Due Diligence Analysts operating as independent contractors within a private capital ecosystem. Analysts support investors, fund managers, and operators by providing due diligence and transaction support on live deals. The position offers immediate earning opportunities upon certification and verification, with compensation based on analyst rating scores and credentials.

Responsibilities

Analysts perform work only in approved diligence categories, which may include:

  • Quality of Earnings (QoE) and financial diligence support
  • Commercial, operational, and market diligence
  • Business risk and red-flag analysis
  • Customer, revenue, and cost structure reviews
  • Management interview support and diligence Q&A tracking
  • Investment memo and investment committee materials support
  • Deal risk summaries and diligence reporting

Work is limited to analytical, diligence, and transaction support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws. Analysts do not provide investment advice, solicit securities, or represent the organization in a regulated capacity.

Certification Tiers and Compensation

Analyst levels, rating scores, typical backgrounds, and pay ranges are as follows:

  • Senior Due Diligence Analyst

    • Rating Score: 90–100
    • Pay: $150–200/hour
    • Typical Background: Former investment banking, private equity, venture capital, transaction advisory, consulting, or senior finance professionals with 5+ years of diligence or deal execution experience
  • Lead Due Diligence Analyst

    • Rating Score: 80–89
    • Pay: $100–150/hour
    • Typical Background: Finance or transaction professionals with 3–5 years of diligence, deal support, or analytical experience
  • Due Diligence Analyst / Associate

    • Rating Score: 60–79
    • Pay: $50–100/hour
    • Typical Background: Entry to mid-level analysts with strong analytical skills and exposure to diligence or transaction support work

Analyst Rating Score

Each analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score that determines platform visibility, approved diligence categories, and recommended hourly rates. Scores are based on assessment results, credentials, performance quality, and client feedback.

How to Start

  • Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved financial training
  • Receive category-specific approvals (Due Diligence, Financial Analysis, Transaction Support)
  • Get verified on the platform
  • Begin earning immediately through hourly diligence projects and live deal engagements

No cold applying or unpaid experience is required. Verified analysts are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors.

Certification & Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must meet at least one of the following:

  • Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
  • Complete approved financial training
  • Hold an active professional credential such as CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent

Compensation & Deal Terms

  • Analysts operate as independent contractors
  • Hourly rates vary by Rating Score and approval level
  • Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
  • Maximum deal-based earning is $2,500 per transaction
  • Payments are issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
  • Approvals may be revoked for quality or compliance issues
