Overview
This role involves conducting forensic accounting research and analysis focused on U.S. listed public companies within the Industrials sector. The analyst will produce detailed reports combining qualitative and quantitative financial statement analysis to support institutional investor clients in making informed investment and risk management decisions.
Responsibilities
- Perform rigorous analysis of financial data, news, and other information related to U.S. Industrials public companies to identify risks.
- Publish high-impact research reports for delivery to investment managers, hedge funds, and other clients.
- Communicate research findings and industry insights to clients.
- Collaborate with U.S. and European sector teams.
- Complete custom research projects and respond to ad hoc client inquiries.
- Maintain industry-specific dashboards.
- Present analysis and methodology in both virtual and in-person settings.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in equity research, financial analysis, or with a corporate credit ratings agency.
- Education and professional experience in accounting or auditing preferred.
- Strong background in financial statement analysis.
- Experience researching, analyzing, or auditing companies.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Comfortable delivering presentations and discussing analysis face-to-face with clients and prospects.
- Willingness to occasionally travel for client meetings and internal events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Credentials such as CPA, CFA, or MBA are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of and interest in financial markets.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $90,000–$130,000.
- Variable target bonus approximately 15-25% of base salary.

Location
