Overview
An established financial advisory and asset management firm is seeking an experienced Equity Research Analyst specializing in US Industrials. The role involves coverage across multiple sub-sectors including Aerospace & Defense, Electricals, Machinery & Construction, Building Products, and Transportation.
Responsibilities
- Develop primary research sources among industry contacts, customers, suppliers, and competitors within the covered companies
- Conduct fundamental research and analyze financial statements of companies in the sector
- Build and maintain valuation models and comparable company analyses
- Quantify risk/reward profiles and timeliness of investment ideas
- Analyze sector-specific risks including currency, political, and regulatory factors
- Demonstrate deep knowledge and passion for the Industrials sector
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience covering Aerospace & Defense, Machinery, Construction, Building Products, Packaging, Transportation, Electricals, or related US Industrials companies
- Exceptional financial modeling and fundamental analysis skills
- Detailed, systematic, and thematic approach to research
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities
- Expert understanding of the Industrials sector and its risk factors and dependencies
- Strong desire to contribute to and improve the equity research platform
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: approximately $200,000 - $250,000 USD
- Actual compensation depends on years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, education, certifications, and skills
