Overview
An organization is seeking Equity Research Experts based in the United States or Canada to support a specialized research project with a leading foundational model AI lab. This role involves applying financial domain expertise to train and enhance advanced AI systems focused on equity research.
Responsibilities
- Train and improve frontier AI models using expertise in financial and equity research
- Analyze and extract critical data from public SEC filings to inform AI model development
- Collaborate remotely with AI researchers to develop industry-specific AI tools
- Provide insights solely based on public data, without using confidential or proprietary information from current or past employers
Requirements
- Residency in the United States or Canada (Note: H1-B or STEM OPT candidates cannot be supported at this time)
- Minimum 2 years of experience at top-tier firms in equity research
- Hands-on experience analyzing, interpreting, and extracting information from public SEC filings
- Strong skills in financial modeling, valuation, and corporate disclosure analysis
- Background working with major investment banks, asset management firms, or specialized financial research institutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience collaborating with AI research teams or in technology-driven financial environments
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive pay (e.g., $90–$110/hour)
- Independent contractor role
- Weekly payouts via Stripe or Wise
- Flexible schedule with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week
- Minimum engagement of 4 weeks, with potential for extension based on performance
