Overview
This role supports a globally integrated manufacturing organization serving as a Tier-1 supplier to the automotive sector. The organization is seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Associate to support day-to-day accounting, compliance, and financial operations for U.S. operations. This position is remote (United States).
Responsibilities
- Assist with processing and verifying accounts payable invoices within QuickBooks.
- Monitor outstanding balances and support utility invoicing activities.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist with preparation of financial data and reports for translation and delivery to the Korean headquarters.
- Reconcile intercompany receivables and payables.
- Provide administrative support for maintaining daily cash position logs.
- Support preparation of federal and state tax reporting.
- Provide documentation support for annual audits and corporate tax filings.
- Provide administrative support for employee payroll cycles.
- Assist with distribution of annual compliance documents such as W-2s and 1099s.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a heavily quantitative field with a deep mastery of US GAAP parameters.
- 0–1 years of accounting or internship experience preferred; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Professional-level verbal and written proficiency in both Korean and English is strictly required.
- Work authorization eligibility: open to candidates holding valid F-1 visas seeking OPT / STEM OPT validation, or those requiring H1-B visa lottery sponsorship or transfer.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (basic formulas and data organization).
- Strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and ability to follow instructions while working effectively in a team-supported environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience managing multi-party intercompany reporting pipelines back to a Korean corporate parent entity.
- Industry experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or automotive supplier environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $50,000 – $65,000 base structure.
