Overview
A rapidly growing organization is seeking a highly qualified Financial Diligence Analyst to join their finance team in Birmingham, AL. This role is a key partner to the business development team and involves financial diligence related to acquisitions and capital expenditure projects. The position reports to executives across business development, finance, accounting, and operations.
Responsibilities
- Build Quality of Earnings (QoE) analyses for every acquisition under Letter of Intent (LOI) and present findings to senior leadership, comparing results to underwriting expectations.
- Develop five-year financial models to produce expected valuations for target hospitals; these models become the operating budgets post-acquisition.
- Select and model capital expenditure projects based on market and hospital-level analysis, calculating their valuation impact.
- Collaborate with business development, operations, and business intelligence teams to model and evaluate growth investments prior to capital commitment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, public accounting (Transaction Advisory Services, audit), or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools such as Excel and financial software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
