Overview

This role partners with internal and external stakeholders to support the Provider Network team and help achieve organizational goals through cost-saving initiatives. The position serves as a key stakeholder across multiple markets and lines of business, compiling and analyzing financial information, leading complex financial projects, and providing data-driven insights to inform network and reimbursement-related business decisions.

This role focuses on evaluating and interpreting analyses and models developed by other teams rather than building underlying data infrastructure, reporting tools, or queries. Healthcare or managed care experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to senior management
  • Lead market calls and support day-to-day market needs to ensure initiatives remain on track with department goals
  • Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations
  • Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts
  • Conduct complex, high-level financial analysis
  • Present and discuss analysis with upper management
  • Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensure financial information is recorded accurately
  • Manage multiple high-value initiatives from planning through implementation and completion
  • Coordinate with project management and leadership to ensure initiatives are on track and goals/timelines are met

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of financial or data analysis experience
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Medicaid and/or Medicare
  • Provider contracting and provider network management experience
  • Healthcare analytics, medical cost trend analysis, and/or reimbursement methodology experience
  • Experience interpreting complex healthcare financial analyses
  • Experience evaluating provider payment methodologies and fee schedules
  • Experience analyzing payment differences across provider types and between Medicare and Medicaid payment models
  • Experience applying analytical findings to business decisions

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range: $70,100.00 - $126,200.00 per year
