Finance Assoc Analyst

Overview

This role is responsible for maintaining daily accounting duties for payables within the organization. The Finance Associate Analyst reports to the Director of Accounting.

Responsibilities

Quality (System)

• Complete training as required per Alafair Quality System

Finance & Compliance (Accounting)

• Review, verify, and process employee expense reports
• Ensure timely payment of invoices
• Reconcile purchase orders, receipts, and invoices, resolving discrepancies
• Maintain accurate vendor files and ensure compliance with W-9 and 1099 reporting requirements
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing or payment issues
• Collaborate cross-functionally (Product Operations, Sales, R&D) to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting
• Support troubleshooting, process improvement, and departmental initiatives
• Support internal and external financial audit requests
• Assist with month-end close

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Accounts Payable experience
• Effective data entry, attention to detail, and record keeping
• Effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach with a high sense of urgency and drive for results

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree
• Healthcare experience
• Medical office experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Base pay: $56,000 - $71,000 annually
• Additional earnings via bonus opportunity

• Remote role, to the vicinity of Austin TX
