Overview
This role involves reviewing and refining AI-generated financial modeling tasks to ensure accuracy and sound methodology. The position is suited for experienced finance professionals based in Singapore with expertise in areas such as investment banking, equity research, corporate finance, FP&A, or wealth management. The work is fully remote and flexible, offered on an hourly contract basis with a commitment of 10–40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated financial analyses, models, and explanations for technical accuracy and methodological soundness
- Audit task instructions and evaluation rubrics to ensure they correctly test real-world finance concepts including DCF, WACC, P&L analysis, financial statement modeling, and valuation
- Evaluate whether AI outputs correctly apply core financial frameworks, formulas, and industry-standard terminology
- Identify errors in financial logic, modeling assumptions, calculation methodology, or presentation
- Provide clear, structured expert feedback pinpointing issues and suggesting corrections
- Assess the quality and rigor of financial reasoning across varying complexity levels
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Requirements
- Deep hands-on experience in finance fields such as investment banking, equity research, corporate finance, FP&A, or wealth management
- Strong command of financial terminology and concepts including DCF, WACC, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, balance sheet analysis, three-statement modeling, and LBO fundamentals
- Ability to quickly and precisely identify errors in financial models, assumptions, and methodologies
- Clear and concise written communication skills to explain complex financial concepts and flag issues
- Detail-oriented with high standards for analytical rigor
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
- No prior AI or technical experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional credentials such as CFA, CPA, CA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent
- Experience mentoring, training, or reviewing junior analysts' work
- Background in financial modeling instruction or curriculum development
- Familiarity with AI tools or content evaluation workflows
- Exposure to multiple finance sub-disciplines such as M&A, credit, private equity, treasury, or structured products
