Overview

The organization is seeking a Finance & RevOps Systems Analyst to optimize the systems, data, and processes supporting Finance, Sales, and Revenue Operations.

This role combines Finance, Revenue Operations, Salesforce, data, and business systems. You will improve reporting, forecasting, data quality, system integrations, and process automation, providing actionable insights to business and leadership teams.

This is a fully remote position with significant cross-functional exposure.

Responsibilities

Finance & Revenue Operations

  • Analyze and improve financial and revenue-related processes.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor key revenue and financial metrics, identifying trends or inconsistencies.
  • Improve visibility into pipeline, bookings, billings, revenue, and customer performance.
  • Partner with Finance and RevOps teams to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.

Salesforce & Business Systems

  • Work with Salesforce and other business systems to support Finance and Revenue Operations.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, workflows, and data processes.
  • Help ensure Salesforce data is accurate, complete, and aligned with financial reporting requirements.
  • Support integrations between Salesforce, accounting, billing, FP&A, and analytics platforms.
  • Translate business requirements into system and reporting solutions.

Data & Reporting

  • Build and maintain financial and operational dashboards.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities.
  • Reconcile data between CRM, financial, and operational systems.
  • Establish data-quality controls and standardized reporting processes.
  • Develop KPI reporting for Finance, Sales, RevOps, and leadership.

Forecasting & Analysis

  • Support revenue forecasting and financial planning.
  • Build and maintain forecasting models using historical and operational data.
  • Analyze forecast accuracy and investigate significant variances.
  • Support scenario analysis and long-term planning.
  • Provide insights that help leadership make informed business decisions.

Automation & Process Improvement

  • Identify manual and repetitive workflows that can be automated.
  • Improve data flows and processes across Finance, Salesforce, and RevOps.
  • Partner with technical teams to implement system improvements and integrations.
  • Help reduce manual reporting and data-entry requirements.
  • Document processes and establish scalable operating procedures.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Finance, Sales, Revenue Operations, Salesforce, and Operations teams.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into analytical or technical solutions.
  • Support system implementations, testing, and process changes.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Finance, Revenue Operations, Financial Analysis, Business Systems, Sales Operations, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
  • Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and data analysis.
  • Experience building dashboards, reports, and KPI frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and data flows.
  • Ability to identify data-quality issues and solve complex analytical problems.
  • Experience working across Finance, Sales, Operations, and Technology teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Administrator certification or strong Salesforce experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, CPQ, or related products.
  • Experience with financial or ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or other BI tools.
  • SQL experience and familiarity with databases.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations, APIs, or data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of SaaS and recurring-revenue metrics such as ARR, MRR, ACV, churn, retention, and expansion revenue.
  • Experience with FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue analytics.
  • Experience with automation platforms such as Zapier, Workato, or Make.
  • Experience in SaaS, consulting, professional services, technology, or other data-driven environments.
