Overview
This remote internship position offers a minimum 6-month commitment with at least 20 hours per week. It is designed for undergraduate or graduate students studying Finance or Accounting who want to apply their academic knowledge to real-world projects.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data in Excel documents and understand their objectives
- Produce presentation decks supported by data and documentation
- Interpret business requirements for report requests
- Create accurate technical documentation for reports and projects
- Collaborate effectively with team members and assist colleagues as needed
- Support accounting and reporting functions for internal and external financial reporting
- Assist with financial strategies and reporting related to capital expenditures and costs
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Finance or Accounting degree program with at least four semesters completed
- Ability to commit to a 6-month virtual internship, with potential in-person meetings if local to Miami headquarters
- Resourceful team player who can manage ambiguity and adapt to different situations and people
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant coursework or knowledge in Finance or Accounting
- Participation in school clubs
- Comfortable with public speaking
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Experience with Excel, Power BI, Workday, or Workiva is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay: $18.00
- This internship is part-time and remote; full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
Location
Remote work from home with potential in-person activities if local to Miami, Florida headquarters.
