Overview
This is a full-time remote Financial Analyst position based in Wisconsin. The role involves collaboration with managers, directors, and senior leadership to support monthly productivity analysis, variance remediation, and coordination of annual operating budgets. The position requires residence in Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership on monthly productivity and variance analysis
- Coordinate and complete annual operating budgets
- Manage month-end closing cycle, including reviewing financial information and journal entries for accuracy
- Maintain and report management systems and departmental statistical and financial data
- Collaborate with accounting staff to ensure fair financial representation
- Evaluate financial impact of new programs and prepare projections for projects such as new building initiatives
- Interpret complex financial and accounting data
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees, both orally and in writing
- Document work thoroughly
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, healthcare administration, or related field
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and standards
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Self-directed and able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
- Must reside in Wisconsin
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or other professional certification preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $27.50 - $44.00 per hour
- 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts
