Overview
This role is a Financial Analyst position supporting a start-up client account within the Work Dynamics Client Finance organization. The position focuses on business analysis, reporting, forecasting, and delivering accurate financial insights for leaders across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Complete regular and ad-hoc reporting, including client documents, presentations, graphs, and charts, while maintaining data integrity across all deliverables.
- Generate monthly and quarterly reports and support day-to-day forecasting activities.
- Enhance existing reporting frameworks.
- Conduct detailed forecast analysis, including Budget versus Actual spending and Forecast versus Actual spending comparisons.
- Support annual budget planning, preparation, and development, assisting leaders in identifying budget corrections and implementing changes.
- Organize and maintain team data collection systems; develop efficient reporting strategies through automation and process simplification.
- Identify tactical and strategic opportunities, gaps, and financial risks while supporting cost-savings and process improvement initiatives.
- Participate in developing best practices, process documentation, and user support materials for financial reporting across the account.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 2+ years of relevant financial analysis experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including demonstrated proficiency in complex financial modeling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting start-up or transition client accounts.
- Familiarity with financial reporting automation tools and technologies.
- Experience with budget planning and forecasting in a corporate services environment.
- Demonstrated success in process improvement and cost-savings initiatives.
- Demonstrated financial competency at a detailed operational level.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal sensitivity.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with proven ability to collaborate across multiple organizational levels.
