Overview
A leading homebuilding organization is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support financial reporting, data modeling, analytics, and accounting functions. This role involves ensuring accuracy in internal and regional/corporate financial reports, assisting with audit and land budgeting processes, and preparing proformas.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the Greenfolder process by preparing vestacalcs, charts, graphs, and reports as needed
- Support financial feasibility analysis for division acquisition opportunities
- Prepare underwriting proformas and related financial documentation for acquired assets
- Analyze historical sales trends, current and future market conditions, and overall market supply and demand
- Develop a deep understanding of processes, strategies, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relevant to Greenfolder analysis
- Translate data and insights into actionable recommendations using visualization and data analysis tools
- Communicate findings clearly and concisely to senior division leadership
- Assist Finance Manager and Operations with various projects as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of general accounting or finance experience preferred
- Homebuilding industry experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
- Experience with JD Edwards and Hyperion/Essbase preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Strong analytical and sound judgment skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $67,780.38 - $106,689 annually, subject to adjustment based on qualifications, geographic pay differentials, and operational considerations
